Yesterday, the SPARCSeu Final Conference brought together leading voices from across Europe to discuss the future of urban energy and sustainability. In the afternoon sessions, ASCEND contributed to key discussions on scaling innovative solutions for climate-neutral cities.

LYON CONFLUENCE, a member of the ASCEND project, has recently published a report summarizing how the activities undertaken by a local public company are transforming and developing La Confluence area benefitting the Ville de Lyon and Métropole de Lyon communities.

What does it mean when two parking lots are transformed into an area with quality of stay, greenery and meeting places? On Friday 12 July, the residents of the Harthof district were able to see the results.

Today, at URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup Meetup in Brno, Czech Republic, we had an incredible session focusing on the @ASCEND cities, Lyon (LYON CONFLUENCE) and Munich, alongside Vienna, the former H2020 - Smarter Together Lighthouse city, presenting its WieNeu+ program.
