The GINNGER project, coordinated by CIRCE – Centro Tecnológico, has published a peer-reviewed study titled “Empiric Results from the Successful Implementation of Data-Driven Innovative Energy Services in Buildings” in Buildings journal. The research highlights the impact of advanced energy services in a residential complex in Spain, detached homes in Croatia, and a hotel in Greece—showing improved self-consumption, demand response, and user engagement, with payback periods under 10 years.
These findings demonstrate the strong potential of scalable energy solutions and provide practical insights for ASCEND cities working toward Positive Clean Energy Districts.
