For those startups and researchers who are working on solutions to enhance the quality of life and transform our cities and urban environments, the Smart City Expo World Congress 2026 is offering two opportunities to get involved in this year’s event in Barcelona.
The Startups Program gives selected startups the opportunity to showcase their solutions, pitch their products and connect with cities, investors and innovation actors.
At the same time, the Call for Research Papers invites researchers to submit their work that explores how AI can contribute to more efficient, resilient and liveable cities, with selected papers to be featured in a scientific journal and presented in the official programme.
