Project INTELLIGENT organized a webinar on June 25th, 2026 at 14.00 focused on the topic of energy communities and the knowledge to drive successful adoption of peer-to-peer energy trading and local energy sharing solutions.
The webinar, “Listening Before Building: What Communities Need from Peer-to-Peer Energy Trading” examined what European energy communities needed from peer-to-peer energy trading, drawing on stakeholder engagement and user research from four pilot communities. It highlighted community expectations, participatory design, and how feedback from citizens, managers, and stakeholders could be translated into practical local energy-sharing and flexibility-management solutions.
