Join us at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 for the session Digital Twins for Climate-Neutral Cities: PEDs in Action Across Europe, highlighting how digital innovation is driving the transition toward sustainable urban districts.
The session, taking place at the Clean Cities stage on November 6th at 15:20 - 16:05 will feature two ASCEND representatives: Maxime Valentin (ASCEND, SPL Lyon Confluence) and moderator Veronika Cerna (ASCEND, Twenty Communications) along with speakers from other Positive Energy District projects: Shahrzad Pour (BiPED), Valdis Ratniks (ExPEDite), Luke Bojcev (NEUTRALPATH) and Benedetta Barchi (TIPS4PED).
The discussion, organised by RINA Consulting S.p.A., will showcase how cities across Europe are using digital twins, AI simulations, and interoperable platforms to develop and operate Positive Energy Districts, optimising energy efficiency, smart buildings, and sustainable mobility while accelerating progress toward climate neutrality.
