The ExPEDite project, in collaboration with The Lisbon Council and Laurea University of Applied Sciences, has launched a series of internal workshops to shape the future activities of the ExPEDite Living Lab—its user-centred innovation ecosystem.
These workshops bring together project partners to align on key concepts, map stakeholders, and co-design the digital twin—a tool for real-time monitoring and management of district-level energy flows. The sessions are focused on developing scalable, community-relevant solutions that support the creation of Positive Energy Districts.
For ASCEND cities, the outcomes of these workshops—set to be presented to the ExPEDite Stakeholder and Advisory Board in June 2025—will offer actionable insights into participatory design processes, digital planning tools, and replicable approaches that can inform the development of their own climate-neutral strategies.
